Charred Peppers with Whipped Truffle Butter

Serves 1

Ingredients 

1 pack of shishito peppers (can be purchased from Don Donki, or replaced with Mini Bell Peppers from Cold Storage)
3 Tbsp Summer Truffle Garlic Butter*, softened
1 tbsp Furikake
Optional Japanese Shichimi (Chili powder)
Optional Coarse Salt

 

Method

  1. Coat your peppers with 1tbsp of neutral oil.
  2. Add your peppers to an air fryer at 190C for 3-5mins or over a hot frying pan until charred.
  3. Set aside in a bowl and season with Japanese shichimi & coarse salt.
  4. Combine truffle garlic butter and furikake in a bowl and whip using whisk until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Serve with the charred peppers and enjoy!
