Truffle Garlic Cheesy Bread
Ingredients
4x Dinner rolls/brioche bun or any round bun you like (8-10cm diameter)
*(a) Cream Cheese mixture*
- 200g cream cheese, softened
- 1-2 tbsp powdered sugar (adjust to your liking)
- 2 tbsp thickened/Whipping cream (or whole milk)
*(b) Garlic Coating*
- 4 tbsp Truffle garlic butter, softened
- 4 tbsp thickened/Whipping cream
- 1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
- 1 tsp fresh minced garlic (if you want it extra garlicky)
Method
- Cut six segments or petals in each bread bun, make sure not to cut all the way through to the base of the roll. This creates openings that will be filled with the cream cheese mixture.
- Add all the (b) Garlic Coating ingredients in a bowl and use a whisk to whip them to until well combined. Spread the garlic coating between each segment of the bread and a little on the outside layers of the bread buns.
- Whisk the (a) Cream Cheese Mixture until creamy and smooth and add to a piping bag. Pipe the mixture into the gaps between each segment of the bread, filling each gap about 3cm to the edge. Pipe a dollop into the centre of each bread.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for 8-10mins or air fry at 180°C for 5-8mins until tops are golden and brown. Serve warm, enjoy!
